Is there an age limit in joining the society?

Due to DBGC regulations , we are not able in accepting membership applications from persons under the age of 18.

Can I invite a guest to play with me during a non DBRGS event?

The Society membership only allows you to play at the DBGC. You can bring a guest, but he will pay the full walking fee of HKD1800. If you want your friend to pay the reduced fees, he would have to join the DBRGS first.

How long does it take to activate my membership?

Please allow at least 10 days for your membership to be activated. As we are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, sometimes it is not possible for us to attend to the society needs on a daily basis.

If I join halfway through the year, can I pay a prorata amount for the annual fee?

Yes, If you join after June, you will pay 75% of the annual fee and if you join after September, you will have to pay 50% of the fee.

Do I have to pay the joining fee?

The first time you join the society, you will have to pay the joining fee. 

If your society membership has expired for a period of two years, when you rejoin, you will have to pay the joining fee again.

Under the current rules, you are allowed to let your membership expire for one year in order not to have to repay the fee.
